When my sister was just a baby, my dad was sent to an Army base in Germany. After a few months of being by herself in Kansas, my mom decided to join my dad. A little while later - Surprise! - My mom found out she was pregnant with me. (I say "Surprise" because my mom didn't tell my dad she stopped taking her birth control.)
I was born in the hospital on the Army Base in Wurzburg, Germany. We moved back to the States a year and a half later - too soon for me to have any memories of it.
I would love to go back and see the old cathedrals, the hills, the bridges, and fortresses and make new memories.
